How this website handles your information.
Last updated 20 October 2026
Donomate is run by Jack Donoghue in Brisbane, Queensland. This notice covers donomate.com. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email, phone, business details and answers when you use the audit form, the enquiry form or book a call.
- Chat. The messages you send in the chat, and the email address you leave if we are away.
- Build notes. Your email address and the words you agreed to when you sign up, so we can show your consent.
- How you found us. The page you first landed on, the site or link that sent you (such as a LinkedIn post or a QR code) and the pages you look at, kept against a random browser id stored on your device. We work out an approximate country and city from your internet address and keep at most a scrambled form of it that cannot be turned back into the address.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, run the call you booked and prepare for it.
- To know which of our posts, links and pages bring enquiries.
- To send build notes, only if you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your information and we do not use advertising cookies on this site.
Where it is kept
Everything you send lands in Donomate’s own HQ, the platform we build for our clients. It is stored with our service providers: Supabase (database, hosted in London, United Kingdom) and Railway (website and application hosting, in the United States). Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When email sending is on, emails are sent through our email provider. These providers handle the information for us and not for their own purposes.
Your choices
- You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.
- You can unsubscribe from build notes at any time with the link in any email.
- You can clear your browser’s storage for this site to remove the browser id.
Contact and complaints
Send a message through the enquiry form or the chat and Jack will reply within one working day. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
